Tea prepared using spices. A favorite drink among Indians and the only place on this earth where tea is literally cooked.

Serves: 4
Ingredients:
4 tsp Tea Powder/Leaves
1 piece of Dry Ginger, Crushed or 1 tsp or more of Ginger Powder
3 Cardamom pods, Crushed
3 Cloves
1/2 tsp of Saunf/Aniseed, Crushed (Optional)
1 piece of Cinnamon stick or 1/4 tsp of Cinnamon powder
3 Cups Water
1 .5 Cups Milk
5 tsp Sugar (Optional)
Method:
Boil water in a saucepan with Ginger, Aniseed, Cinnamon, and Cardamom. Add Tea Powder/leaves and let it brew for a minute. Remove from heat, and then let it steep at room temperature for another minute.
Sieve and add Sugar and Milk.
Pour into cups and serve hot with spicy Pakoras (fritters).
