Tabebuia Rosea is also known as the Pink Trumpet Tree, Pink poui, Pink tecoma, Rosy trumpet tree. In Hindi this tree is known as Basant Rani.
These huge deciduous trees are found in plenty in Western Ghats.
This tree is same as Tabebuia Aurea.
Many of Bangalore’s sidewalks are lined with Tabebuia Rosea transforming the landscape when in bloom.
