Bread stuffed with Cauliflower and spices. Phool Gobi – Cauliflower Paratha is a very popular dish in North India.
Time Required: 30 Minutes
Ingredients:
Oil for roasting
For Covering:
2 Cups Wheat flour
For Filling:
2 Cups Grated Cauliflower
1tbsp Aamchur/Dry Mango Powder
1tsp Jeera/Cumin Powder
1tsp Chili Powder
1tsp Dhania/Coriander Powder
2tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
Salt to taste
Method:
For Covering:
Mix flour with water and knead into a dough. Ensure that the dough is neither too soft nor too hard. Divide into balls and keep aside.
For Filling:
Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
For Paratha:
Roll out each ball on a floured surface into a thin concentric circle. Place the Cauliflower mixture on one half of the circle.
Close the paratha with the other half and press the edges firmly.
Lightly roll the paratha with a rolling pin into an oval shape.
Roast both sides on a griddle and drizzle Oil over the paratha while roasting. Serve hot Phool Gobi – Cauliflower Paratha with butter, curds / raitha and pickle.
