Sabudana Vada are fritters prepared using Sago Pearls. It is an authentic snack of Maharashtra.
Time Required: 20 Minutes + Soaking Time
Ingredients:
1 Cup Sabudana / Sabbakki / Sago Pearls
1 Potato
¼ Cup Roasted Peanuts / Groundnuts
2 Green Chilies, Chopped finely
2 Sprigs Coriander, Chopped finely
¼ tsp Jeera / Cumin Seeds
Salt to taste
Method:
Wet Sabudana and leave it aside for 1 hour. Boil Potato, peel and mash it. Crush Peanuts. Add all the ingredients together.
Shape into vadas and deep fry until brown.
Serve with Curd mixed with Sugar or with any chutney of your choice.
