Happy Krishna Janmashtami!
Uddina Unde is very easy to make sweet dish. This is unique as it is prepared using whole black gram.
Cuisine: Karnataka
Time Required: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
¾ Cup Uddinabele / Saboot Urad Dal / Whole Black Gram
1 Cup Sugar Powder
½ Cup Ghee / Clarified Butter
½ tsp Yelakki / Elaichi / Cardamom Powder
1 tbsp Chopped Badam / Almonds
1 tbsp Chopped Cashew nuts
1tsp Roasted Yellu / Til / Sesame Seeds
Method:
Dry roast Uddinabele and grind to a powder. Sieve and keep aside.
In a kadai / pan heat Ghee and when it melt, switch off the stove. Add Uddina powder, Yellu, Sugar, Elaichi Powder and the Nuts and mix well. Divide the mixture and make into balls.

As your laddu is so easy to make. Mom also makes it with split urad dal.
