- Do not throw flowers that remain fresh, when you clear the previous day flowers from the pooja place. Use them to make floating arrangement.
- Keep the agarbathi / incense stick stand on a use hard cardboard covers to collect the ash. It can be cleaned next day and used again. You can also cover the board with a brown or colorful wrapper.
- Metal spoons in salt and pickle containers will rust. Always keep plastic or wooden spoons in them.
