Summer holidays are fast approaching and parents run out of ideas to keep the kids out of mischief. One activity that can keep the girls busy is to allow them to design their own jewelry. Whether they wear it or not, but playing around with colorful beads is a wonderful creative hobby. There is no end to the combinations that can be made with beads, pendants and charms. Few ideas to make necklaces, bracelets and ear rings are shown in the pictures below.
Materials Required:
Different colored beads
Pendants
Wire
Clasps
Scissors
Method:
For a necklace with a pendant, divide the beads into two parts (For example: if you have 50 beads, the two parts would have 25 beads each).
Tie one part of the clasp to a wire and put one half of the beads into the wire, then put the pendant and the rest of the beads. Tie the other part of the clasp at the end. Your necklace is ready.
Pearls and corals can be bought loose and made into strings at home.
