Coffee roots and stems are very interesting in their natural form. Coffee root and stem, when used in flower arrangement adds a unique dimension to the arrangement. I have collected some roots in Chikmagalur, which is the coffee cup of India.
Materials Used:
1 Big hollow Coffee root with stem intact
1 Test Tube
3 Asparagus Stems
1 thin Juice Glass
3 Bird-of-Paradise
2 Bunches of Carnations
3 Bunches of white filler flowers
2 Philodendron leaves
Method:
Fill water in the test tube and tie it to the edge of the stem. Cut Asparagus stems into 3 different sizes. Ensure that they are not of the same size. Insert the Asparagus stems into the test tube.
Fill water in the Thin Glass. Insert the glass carefully in the hollow of the Coffee root.
Cut Bird-of-Paradise flower stems into three different sizes. Cut one bunch of Carnation height less than the second Bird-of-Paradise flower. Cut the other bunch of Carnation height less or equal to the third Bird-of-Paradise. Insert all these stems one next to the other or below into the juice glass as shown in the picture.
Arrange the fillers to finish the arrangement.
