This month is Karwa Chauth and women delve deep into preparation for the festival. Decking themselves up will be high on agenda as well as decorating the Karwa. Here is a small demonstration on Karwa Decoration.
Materials required:
1 Karwa
Few Gold or Silver lace
Few Kundans in different colors
White Glue
Fabric colors or Oil paint
Paint Brushes
Method:
Paint the Karwa and the lid with one single color.
Paint the lid facing up with motifs and stick few kundans.
Using contrast colors start painting the borders on the Karwa.
Stick the Kundans in designs around the Karwa.
With your imagination you can cover the Karwa with various designs.
Let the Karwa and the lid dry.
