Roses made using Organdy cloth look natural and is very easy to make.
Materials Required:
Organdy / Organdie cloth
Scissors
Thread
Flexible Wire
Green Tape
Few Velvet Leaves
Method:
Cut the wire measuring 3 to 5 inches according to your requirement.
For the center piece:
Cut 1 piece measuring 1 cm X 1 cm. Fold in the middle.
Roll the piece on one edge of the wire, as shown below and tie with the thread.
For the petals:
Cut 7 Square pieces measuring 3 cms X 3 cms.
Fold each of the square pieces diagonally to get triangle shape, as shown below.
Fold the edges of the triangles as shown below.
Use thread to tie this petal with the folded edge on one side of the center piece.
Continue to tie the rest of the petals overlapping all around the center piece.
Ensure that the flower starts resembling a Rose.
Wrap the wire with the green tape and add leaves to the stem to complete Organdy Rose.
