My joy knew no bounds when I found Vanda Testacea plants in full bloom in Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary. The pale yellow flowers are very very cute. Added to the charm of the flowers is the light fragrance.

Vanda Testacea also known as Small Flowered Vanda is an epiphyte native to Himalayas and the Western Ghats in India and some regions of Myanmar and Thailand.
These perennial plants are found at an elevation of 780 to 2000 meters and they bloom in the month of April in the Western Ghats.
The leaves are alternate and linear.
The spike of flowers of this orchid plant is upright and can be up to 8 inches long.
Orchid Vanda Testacea can bear from 5 to 10 flowers.
