Beach Spider Lily is a very easy to grow plant. Botanical name is Hymenocallis littoralis and belongs to y: Amaryllidaceae (Nargis) family. Beach Spider Lily plant is native to South America, but they thrive around the world. It is a perennial plant and blooms throughout the year.
Beach Spider Lily plant grows to a height of 30-70 cm tall. The leaves are green, long and narrow shaped leaves.
A long 2 feet stalk grows from the center of the leaves. At the edge of the stalk is a cup with six buds. The flowers are tube like, white, and fragrant. The name spider comes from the fact that the petals look like spider legs.
The flowers are long lasting as each of the bud blooms at a different time.
