The flavors and aroma of Italian Cuisine are derived from the use of herbs. An Italian recipe calls out for at least one herb. Fresh herbs in the dish give the preferred aroma and in the absence of fresh herbs, dry herbs can be used.
You can easily grow herbs in pots and pan. I have a collection of herbs growing in my balcony. Wrap fresh herbs in a damp cloth and put them in a plastic bag and store in the refrigerator.
