Bhavani Shankar Temple is situated in Vasanthapura, Bangalore.
The temple is more than 250 years old and the presiding deity is Sri Bhavani Shankar (Lord Shiva). The Swayambhu Linga is installed in the sanctum sanctorum.
A very quiet and peaceful temple, it is surrounded by Bilva trees and Nagaraja idols. It is believed that Chatrapathi Shivaji had camped in this place and worshiped the lord.
