Kshanambika Temple, Srirangapattana

Kshanambika temple though less popular than Nimishamba temple in Srirangapattana is no less powerful than Nimishamba. Kshanambika means the goddess who grants the wishes in a Kshana / Second whereas Nimishamba is believed to grant wishes in a Nimisha / minute!

As donors revive this forgotten temple, people are flocking to this temple for divine blessings. None go empty handed as the beautiful idol of the goddess has a Sri Yantra carved in front of the idol. The Sri Yantra has the power to bless all devotees.

The Sri Yantra is differently installed and carved than the Sri Chakra. The Sri Yantra has the mantras carved all around the stone giving out positive energy inside the temple and all around it.

The Yantra is also believed to absorb cosmic energy. Sri Yantra is actually a representation of Lalitha Mahatripurasundari or Parvathi, the consort of Lord Shiva.
