The most striking and beautiful architectural wonder in the world is the Lake Palace situated in Udaipur. Visitors cannot take their eyes of this beautiful pure white palace gleaming in the middle of Lake Pichola.
The lake palace was built by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1743 on Jag Niwas Island and covers 1.5 hectare of the island. This was the summer palace of the kings now converted into a 5 star hotel.
We took the boat ride to Jag Mandir palace and enjoyed the architectural wonder of the lake palace.
Inside are courtyards, gardens, beautiful terraces and fountains.
