Nrupatunga Betta is a picnic spot in Hubli. Locals and visitors spend quality time with their family and friends.
You can drive up the hill and park your vehicles at a distance of 1 Km from the hill top.
You must also buy entry tickets to walk to the hill top. Elderly people can avail transport facility for a nominal charge.
If you walk from the foothills it a hike of about 40 minutes.
Sunset is very pretty from the hills.
Many types of plants and trees grow here. Mexican Lilac tree was in full bloom when we visited.
The hedges and other garden plants are well maintained.
A gazebo on top of the hill offers a place to relax.
There is a nice view of Hubli – Dharwad, Unkal Lake, Amargol, and Airport from here.
The well maintained children’s park is always brimming with children playing excitedly.
The hill top is well lit in the evenings.
