Haveli or Bungalows of the by gone era in Rajasthan are as big and beautiful as the palaces.
Patwon Ki Haveli is the biggest Haveli in Rajasthan and is situated in Jaisalmer near the Patwa complex. Guman Chand Patwa a wealthy brocade merchant built this Haveli in 1805. The complex consists of 5 small havelis one for each of his 5 sons built in a span of 60 years.
The government uses part of Patwon Ki Haveli as offices for its various departments.
