Vani Vilasa Water works pumping station is situated in Belagola, KRS road, Mysuru. This pumping station is a heritage site and worth preserving it.
This pumping station was installed in 1893 during the 12th year reign of the King Chamarajendra Wodeyar.
Kaveri River flows into the water station through a channel. This water is tapped and water is provided for drinking purposes to the whole of the Mysuru region.
Electricity was provided to the Belagola station in 1910.
