Chennakeshava Temple complex in Belur comprises of many temples dedicated to various deities. One such temple is the Veera Narayana temple. The presiding deity Veera Narayana is also known as Lakshmi Narayana. This is situated to the west of the Keshava temple.
The temple Veera Narayana Temple is built on an elevated basement.
The temple comprises of the Garbhagriha (sanctum santorum), a Sukhanasi (inner hall), and a Navaranga (outer hall). The outer walls are carved with Vaishnava and Shaiva faith sculptures.
The highlight of all the sculptures is the three crowned heads of Vijaya Narayana, Chenna Keshava, and Lakshmi Narayana.
