  • If you are storing dosa batter for more than two days, keep a Betal leaf on the batter.  This will not make the batter sour.
  • Heat a spoon before you use it to scoop out the pickle from the main jar.  This well ensure that the spoon is moisture free.
  • Add 1/4 tsp slaked lime/sunna to boiled and cooled water and then add to Pickle.  It works as a preservative.
