Dosa prepared with South Karnataka‘s favorite winter flat beans!
Time Required: 20 Minutes + time to prepare dosa batter

Ingredients:
For the Dosa Batter:
1½ Cups Raw Rice
½ Cup Urad Dal/Black Gram split
1 tsp Methi/Fenugreek Seeds
2 tbsp Tuvar Dal/Red Gram split
Oil for roasting
Salt to taste
For the Dosa masala:
1 Cup boiled Avarekalu / Papdi Lilva / Winter Flat Beans
1 Green Chili, Chopped finely
Few sprigs of Coriander, Chopped finely
Few Curry leaves, Chopped finely
1 Cup Chutney Powder
Oil for roasting
Salt to taste
Method:
For the Dosa Batter:
Soak Rice, Urad Dal, Methi, Tuvar Dal in water for 4 hours. Grind them together to a batter and leave it for 8 hours to ferment.
For the Avarekalu Dosa:
Mix Dosa Batter, Avarekalu, Green Chili, Coriander and Curry leaves. Add Salt and mix well.
Heat a dosa pan and drop a spoonful of batter and using hands make into a small circle.
After few seconds, add Oil and sprinkle chutney powder over it.
After a minute, flip and roast for 30 seconds. Remove to a serving dish.
You can also make without sprinkling the chutney powder.
Serve hot with chutney.
