The famous Bombay Sandwich, the ubiquitous street food of Bombay gets its taste from the chutney used. The chutney is spicy, tangy, and creamy.

Ingredients:
1 Cups Coriander leaves
1/2 Cup Mint leaves
3 – 4 Green Chilies, add more if you need the chutney to be spicy
2 tbsp Roasted Gram or roasted and peeled Groundnuts / Peanuts
Juice of 1 Lemon
1 tsp Roasted Jeera/ Cumin powder
1 tsp Sugar or 3 Kharjoor / Dates
1/2 inch Ginger
1 tsp Chat Masala
Salt to taste

Method:
Grind all ingredients to a paste. Add few tablespoons of water. Ensure that the chutney is not runny. Use Bombay Sandwich Chutney generously along with Bombay Sandwich Masala while preparing the Bombay Sandwich.
