Wish you all a happy and colorful Holi. Enjoy this sweet dish prepared using Almonds.

Time Required: 30 Minutes + Soaking time
Ingredients:
1 Cup Almonds, soaked in water
1 Cup Milk
½ Cup Ghee / Clarified Butter
¾ Cup Sugar
¼ tsp Cardamom Powder
Few strands of Saffron soaked in Milk
Method:
Peel the Almonds and grind along with Milk to a paste.
Heat Ghee in a thick bottomed pan.
Add Almond paste to Ghee and stir on medium flame.
Lower the flame if necessary and continue to stir for 3 to 4 minutes.
Add Saffron milk and stir.
Stir until the mixture starts leaving the sides of the pan.
Remove to a serving dish and serve.
This halwa can be stored without refrigeration for 3 days.
