Badam Ladoo is a sweet dish prepared using Almonds. A very easy to make recipe, which is a boon during hectic festival days.
Time Required: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 Cup Badam/Almonds
6tbsp Sugar
4tbsp Milk
1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
2tbsp Ghee/Clarified Butter
Few Raisins
Few strands of Saffron soaked in 1 tbsp milk
Method:
Boil Almonds in water for 5 mts. Peel their skin and roughly crush them. Heat Ghee in a kadai and add the crushed Almonds and fry for 6 – 7 mts. Add Milk, Sugar, Saffron milk, and Cardamom powder to it and mix well. Mixture for the Laddoos is ready.
When the mixture is hot, tie into laddoos. You can add a raisin over each of the laddoo.
Store in airtight containers.
