Coconut is an integral part of Indian cooking. Dried or fresh, it winds its way into the dishes. Coconut Oil is also used in certain cuisines. This sweet is prepared using desiccated Coconut and condensed milk and apt for Krishna Janmashtami.
Time required: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
1.5 cups Desiccated Coconut
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp Condensed Milk
1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
2 tbsp Pistachios, chopped
Method:
Mix Coconut and condensed milk and Cardamom powder.
Cook the mixture on low flame until it forms a mass.
Add Pistachios and mix.
Remove from heat and when hot bind into Laddoos (balls).
Roll the Laddoos in desiccated coconut.
Garnish with your choice of nut.
