Diwali the festival of lights is just round the corner and kitchens in India are in full swing making delicious sweets. Here is a recipe of Kheer Kadam to make your Diwali celebrations sweet.
Time required: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 Cup Khova / de-hydrated Milk
Few tiny dry Rasgullas
1/4 Cup Sugar
Slices of Pistachios
Method:
Grate little Khova (around 2 tbsp )and keep aside
Heat the remaining Khova and when it melts, add Sugar and mix well.
Remove from heat, knead and make into balls.
Flatten the balls and keep a Rasgulla inside and cover it completely.
Shape into a ball.
Roll on the grated Khoya and decorate with a slice of Pistachio. Repeat for all balls.
You can also roll on desiccated coconut too.
Arrange in a serving tray and serve. You can chill for half an hour before serving.
