Shahi Tukda

Deep fried bread soaked in flavored and thickened milk.

Cuisine: Mughlai

Time Required: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Cup Condensed Milk
2 Cups Milk
3 tbsp Sugar, Optional
Few nuts sliced and toasted
Few strands of Saffron
1 tsp Cardamom Powder
Few slices of Bread


Method:
In a thick-bottomed pan, mix Condensed Milk and Milk and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.

Add Saffron, Cardamom powder, Sugar, and Nuts.


Mix well and keep aside.

Cut Bread slices to any shape. Deep fry until brown.

Remove on a kitchen towel.


Arrange the deep fried bread pieces on a serving tray. Pour the Milk mixture over the bread slices and serve.
