Eating Mukhwa, which is a type of digestive mixture is part of the India Culture. This is usually offered in all restaurants while presenting the bill and also during functions and festivities, the digestive in different forms are offered to the guests after lunch or dinner.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Sunflower seeds
2 tbsp Melon seeds
2 tbsp Flaxseeds
2 tbsp Pumpkin seeds
1 tsp Sugar or Sugar substitute
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
4 tbsp Fennel Seeds
2 tbsp grated Dry Coconut
1 tbsp Hemp Seeds (Optional)
Few Dates
Few Betel nuts
2 tbsp Dry Rose petals
2 tbsp Dry Mint leaves
2 tbsp Melon seeds
2 tbsp Flaxseeds
2 tbsp Pumpkin seeds
1 tsp Sugar or Sugar substitute
1 tsp Sesame Seeds
4 tbsp Fennel Seeds
2 tbsp grated Dry Coconut
1 tbsp Hemp Seeds (Optional)
Few Dates
Few Betel nuts
2 tbsp Dry Rose petals
2 tbsp Dry Mint leaves
Method:
Dry roast all the seeds. Chop Dates and Beetle nuts finely. Betel nuts can be cut using a nut cracker.
Mix all the ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Store in a dry airtight jar. Serve with fresh Betel Leaves.
