Beladahannina Panaka is a juice prepared using Wood Apple. This is prepared on Rama Navami and distributed to the devotees.
Time Required: 20 Minutes
Ingredients:
1 Ripe Beladahannu / Bel fruit / Wood Apple
1/2 Cup Grated Jaggery
1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
A pinch of Salt
Method:
Remove the pulp in a vessel and add 2 cups of water and squish the fruit in the water using hands. Sieve and keep it aside. Add 1 cup water to Jaggery and melt it. Sieve Jaggery water and add to the fruit pulp. Add Cardamom powder and Salt and mix well. Chill the juice for an hour.
Pour into glasses and serve.
