Come June – July, the markets are filled with these shiny Black-Purple fruit known as Narale Hannu in Kannada and Jamun in Hindi. Apart from eating with a pinch of salt, the fruit tastes great when churned into a juice.
Time required: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
2 Cups Jamun slices
2 – 4 tbsp Sugar or Jamun Jelly
1/4 tsp Black Salt
1 tsp Roasted Jeera Powder
1/4 Cup Mint / Pudina leaves
3 glasses of Cold Water
Method:
Blend the ingredients except for water.
Add water and churn once.
Pour into glasses and serve.
