Plum Panna – Plum Juice

Plum Juice

My taste buds were bowled over when I tasted Plum Panna in Coonoor.  The freshly picked Plums tasted great in this refreshing drink.  

Ingredients:
10 – 12 Plums
1 tsp Roasted Jeera/Cumin Powder
1 tsp Kala Namak / Black Salt
3 – 4 tbsp Sugar
Few Mint leaves

Method:
In a vessel, boil water and Plums.

Seive and peel the Plums.

Deseed the Plums and in a blender combine Plums, Jeera Powder, Black Salt, Sugar or Monk fruit Sugar / Stevia, and mint leaves.

Blend until smooth and sieve if necessary.  Add two glasses of chilled water.

Pour into glasses.

Serve with Plum slices.
