Buttermilk with seasoning.
Time Required: 10 Minutes
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
4 Glasses of Buttermilk
1 Green Chili
1″ Ginger
Few Springs Curry Leaves
2tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
1/2 tsp Hing/Asafoetida powder
Salt to taste
For the Seasoning:
1tsp Oil
1/2tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2tsp Jeera/Cumin Seeds
1 Red Chili, Broken
Method:
Grind Ginger, Coriander leaves, Curry leaves and Green Chili to a paste. Add this to the Buttermilk along with Hing and Salt. Sieve the liquid.
Heat Oil in a kadai and add Mustard Seeds and when they splutter add Jeera and Red Chili. Add this to the Buttermilk and mix well.
Pour into glasses and serve.
