Deep fried bread prepared using refined flour. This dish is incomplete without Channa / Chole a side dish prepared using Chik peas. Chole Bature or Channa Batura always go hand in hand.

Ingredients:
2 Cups Maida / Refined Flour
1 Cup Curds / Yogurt
1tsp Sugar
Oil for Deep-frying
A pinch of cooking soda
Salt to taste
Method:
Mix all the ingredients except for Oil together to a soft dough. Cover with a cloth and keep aside for 30 minutes. Divide into lemon sized balls. Roll out each ball on a floured surface into concentric circles.
Heat Oil and deep-fry each one until they puff. Serve hot Batura with Chole / Channa.
