Missi Roti

Missi Roti is the bread that the Rajsthanis break in their meal. It is prepared using a mixture of Bengal Gram and Wheat flour.

Cuisine: Rajasthan

Required Time: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Cup Wheat Flour
1 Cup Besan / Bengal Gram Flour / Kadalehittu
Ghee
Salt to taste

Method:
Mix the flours with water and knead to a dough. Divide the dough into balls.

On a floured surface roll out each ball into a concentric circle.

Roast on a griddle on both sides and the side roasted first can be flipped on direct flame.

Remove to a tray and spread some ghee over it. Repeat for others and serve hot with Papad Ki Sabzi, Palak Mangodi or Ghattey Ki Sabzi.
