Schezwan Rice

Schezwan Rice is a spicy main course dish prepared using Rice and Vegetables and Schezwan sauce. Schezwan cuisine is from Sichuan province in southwestern China.

Time Required: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
2 Cups Rice
2 tbsp Oil
1 Cup Cabbage, chopped
1 Onion, Chopped
½ Cup Beans, chopped
½ Cup Carrot, chopped
½ Cup Capsicum, chopped
1 Cup Spring Onion, Scallions
1tbsp Vinegar
1tsp Garlic, minced
1tsp Ginger, sliced
1tbsp Schezwan Sauce
Salt to taste

Method:
Cook Rice and keep it aside. Heat Oil in a wok and add Garlic, Onion, and Ginger and sauté for a minute or two.

Add Cabbage, Beans and Carrot and stir fry for a minute or two. Now add Capsicum and sauté for another minute.

Add Vinegar, Salt, and Schezwan Sauce.

Mix well.

Add cooked rice and mix well.

Add Spring Onion and mix well.

Serve hot.
