Moong Dal Salad – Split Green Gram Salad Recipe

Moong Dal Salad

Split green gram salad is a wholesome meal and wonderful to enjoy as a snack in the evening with a cup of tea.

Time Required: 30 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 Cup Soaked Moong Dal / Split Green Gram
1 tsp Chili Powder
½ tsp Hing / Asafoetida
½ tsp Turmeric Powder
1 Tomato, Chopped finely
2 tsp Oil
1 tbsp Masala Groundnuts
3 tbsp Boondi
2 tbsp Raw Mango, Chopped finely
2 tbsp Plain Sev
2 Green Chilies, Chopped finely
Few sprigs of Mint, Chopped finely
Few sprigs of Coriander leaves, Chopped finely
Juice of Half Lemon
½ tsp Sugar
Salt to taste



Method:
Heat Oil, add Hing and Turmeric Powder.

Add Soaked Green Gram and fry for two minutes.

Add Salt and Chili Powder and stir.

Remove to a salad bowl.

Add the rest of the ingredients.

Mix well.

Serve Moong Dal Salad immediately.

You can also serve Moong Dal Salad filled in Pani Puris.
