Pear Salad

Pear Salad

Pear Salad is a delicious and healthy salad.  Can be served as an accompaniment or as a snack.

Time required: 10 Minutes

Ingredients:
1 or 2 Pears, Peeled and diced
1/2 Red Pepper, Sliced
1 Radish, Peeled and sliced
1 Onion, Chopped
Few Lettuce leaves, Shredded
A handful of Pecan nuts
1/2 Cup Sprouted Green Gram
Juice of 1 Lemon
1/2 tsp Crushed Pepper
1/2 tsp Chili Flakes
1/2 tsp Sugar or Honey
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Salt to taste

Method:
In a cup, mix Oil, Salt, Pepper, Chili Flakes, Sugar, and Lemon.

Toast Pecan nuts and keep it aside.  In a salad bowl, mix Pear, Vegetables, Lettuce, Sprouts, and Pecan nuts.

Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently.

Chill and serve.
