The most awaiting months of the year with innumerable festivals are here. Aroma of festive food fills the air in every home. Children in crisp silk run around and women of the house get busy churning a variety of dishes. Kosambari, which is a salad is a must during festivals and this recipe here is prepared using fruits.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Pineapple pieces
1/2 Cup Pomegranate
2 Green Chilies, minced
Juice of 1 Lemon juice
Few Coriander sprigs, chopped finely
1/2 Cup freshly grated Coconut
Salt to taste
Seasoning:
1 tsp Oil
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
A pinch of Hing/Asafoetida
Method:
Toss all ingredients except for the seasoning and gently mix. Heat Oil and add Mustard Seeds and Hing.
Cool it and add this to the salad and mix well.
