Capsicum Besan Subzi – Capsicum Gram Flour Side Dish

Capsicum Besan Subzi

Capsicum Besan Subzi is a side dish, where Capsicum is stir fried with roasted gram flour and spices.

Time required: 20 Minutes

Ingredients:
2 Capsicum, Chopped
3 tbsp Besan / Gram Flour
1 tsp Chili Powder
1 tsp Jeera Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
A pinch of Hing
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
1 tsp Jeera / Cumin Seeds
Juice of half Lemon
3 – 4 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste

Method:
In a pan add Gram flour, Jeera Powder, and Coriander Powder.

Dry roast for a minute.

Add Chili Powder and dry roast again. Remove the mixture and keep aside.

Heat Oil, add Jeera, Turmeric Powder, and Hing.

Add Capsicum and stir for a minute.

Add the Besan mixture and mix well.

Add Lemon juice and Salt and mix. Remove to a serving dish and serve hot with your choice of Indian Bread.
