Tomato Onion Masala

When you have only Onion and Tomatoes at home, you can make Tomato Onion Masala as an accompaniment to Indian Bread.

Time Required: 10 Minutes

Ingredients:
4 Tomatoes, Chopped finely
2 Onion, Chopped finely
2 – 4 Green Chilies, slit in the middle
Few Curry leaves
Few sprigs Coriander leaves, Chopped finely
1″ Ginger, Chopped finely
1 – 2 tbsp Oil
1 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
Salt to taste

Method:
Heat Oil and add Mustard Seeds, when they splutter, add Turmeric powder, Onion, Curry leaves, and Chilies. Saute for two to three minutes.

Next, add Tomatoes and stir-fry for 4 minutes.

Add Salt and Coriander leaves.

Serve Tomato Onion Masala with your choice of Indian Bread or plain rice.
