Honey and Cinnamon Buns are a favorite among children during holidays.
Number of Buns: 12
Ingredients:
¼ Cup Butter, Softened
½ Cup Honey
½ Cup Chopped toasted nuts
2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
450gms Bread Dough
2/3 Cup Raisins
Method:
For Honey Filling:
Mix 1tbsp Butter, ¼ Cup Honey and Cinnamon.
For the Buns:
Roll out bread dough onto a floured surface into 16 X 6 inch rectangle. Spread the filling evenly over the dough. Sprinkle evenly with Raisins. Starting with larger side, roll the dough into a log. Cut the log into 12 ( 1 ½ inch) pieces. Place each piece cut-side up, on a baking tray. Set aside the tray in a warm place; let dough rise for 30 minutes.
Bake them at 375 degrees F for 20 minutes or until the buns are golden brown. Remove from oven; let it cool for 5 minutes and serve Honey and Cinnamon Buns with more honey or jam.
