Jalapeno nah! not available in Namma Bengaluru, so prepared the poppers with Shimla Mirch.

Ingredients:
Few Jalapenos or Shimla Mirch
1 Cup Processed Cheese, Grated
Few Double Beans, Boiled
1/2 Cup Onion, Chopped
2 Green Chilies, Minced or 1tsp Cayenne Pepper Powder
3 – 4 Garlic Pods, Minced
Few Scallions of Spring Onion, Chopped finely
2tbsp Cream Cheese
Juice of half Lemon
1tsp Cumin Seeds
1tbsp Oil
Salt to taste
Method:
Cut each Jalapeno / Shimla mirch vertically in half. Scoop out the seeds.
Heat Oil and add Cumin Seeds, Garlic, and Onion and saute for a minute.
Remove and keep aside.
In a mixing bowl, mash Boiled Double Beans, to this add half cup of Cheese, Cream Cheese, Cumin-Onion-Garlic, Salt, Spring Onions, and Green Chilies or Cayenne Powder. Mix well.
Pre-heat the oven at 180 degrees.
Stuff each Jalapeno or Shimla Mirch with the Cream-Cheese filling and keep it aside.
Onto a greased baked tray, place the stuffed Jalapenos, stuffed side up.
Grate Cheese over them.
Bake them for 30 minutes or until the top layer turns golden brown.
Serve hot with your choice of Salsa.
