Making roses using crepe paper is another fun way of being creative.
Materials required:
Crepe paper
Cutting pliers
Wires for stalks
Leaves
Scissors
Glue
Thread
Green glue tape
Method:
Cut paper into 5 by 3 cm and 4 by 2 cm. Big ones can be around 15 pieces and small ones can be around 12 pieces.
Shape them into petals.
Gently using the two thumbs stretch each of the petal. Taking a ball pen refill twist the edges to the outer side.
Cut Green sepals and shape them.
Take a piece of paper and tie it using thread to the wire to form the flower center.
Start tying the small petals around the center. Each petal edge must overlap the other.
Start tying the big petals.
Paste the Sepals under the flower.
Tape the wire with the green tape. Add leaves as you tape the stem.
Make a bud and tape it to the flower.
Arrange as needed.
Wonderful! I was unsure how would the flower look looking at the printed crepe paper. But it is so beautiful! And how neat the finishing given! Well done!
Thank you so much.Regards,Shantha
