Guava is an all-time favorite from my school days to now. A fruit, which you can bite into anytime you are hungry and as mom would reiterate that the fruit is rich in Vitamin C.
Ingredients:
1 Guava
1″ piece Ginger
1 Cup Pudina / Mint leaves
1 Cup Coriander leaves
2 to 3 Green chilies
Pepper to taste
1/4 tsp Kala Namak / Black Salt
1/2 tsp Roasted Jeera / Cumin Powder
Juice of half Lemon
A pinch or two Hing / Asafoetida
Salt to taste
Method:
Remove the guava seeds and dice. Combine all the ingredients and blend with 3-4 tbsp of water to a smooth paste.
Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator.
Serve as an accompaniment with snacks, khakra, or Indian Bread.
