Red Chilies are available during the winters in India. Various varieties can be seen in the market. The heat of Chili Sauce adds the much needed zing to any dish.
Ingredients:
1 Cup Raw Red Chilies, deseeded
10 Peeled Garlic cloves
1/4 Cup Vinegar
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Sugar
Method:
Remove the stems of the chilies and deseed them. Grind to a paste along with Garlic.
In a thick-bottomed pan, add the Chili paste and cook for 5 minutes. Add Vinegar and cook for another 5 minutes stirring continuously.
Add Sugar and Salt and cook until the mixture reaches a sauce consistency.
Let it cool.
Remove to a dry airtight container.
Serve with your choice of Bread, Sandwiches, or Snacks.
