I remember Split Second Morning Glory growing in our balcony when growing up.
Every morning before going to school we would see the beautiful blooms and by the time we would be back, they would have faded only to find a new one in bloom the next day.
This is one flower, which stirs a lot of pleasant emotions.
The plant is a creeper and needs support to grow. It can grow quickly up to 4 to 6 feet.
The leaves are green and heart shape. The flowers are 2 inches, ruffled, and shaded in pink and white.
Seeds are black, encapsulated in a brown shell.
This is a truly beautiful Morning Glory with their puffy, double blooms. I just read that they are heirloom plants so I’ll try to save the seeds and see if those grow next year.
Thanks for leaving the note, Jan. Hope they grow well next year too…
