Botanical name of Chestnutleaf Trumpet bush is Tecoma castanifolia and belongs to Bignoniaceae (Jacaranda) family.
This evergreen tree grows to a height of 8 to 10 feet in favorable conditions. The leaves are simple, green, and toothed (serrated margins). They can be up to 12cm long.
Flowers are yellow and bell-shaped and bloom at the end of branches that spread outwards. The flowers are about 5 cm wide.
Chestnutleaf Trumpet bush is a favorite tree to plant outdoors in gardens and to line the streets.

Chestnutleaf Trumpet bush can be propagated from semi-hardwood cuttings. You can also collect the seeds by allowing the pods to dry on the plant.
