- To control insects sprinkle some Hing / Asafoetida powder near the holes drilled by the insects.
- Keep half inch Hing / Asafoetida pieces inside bottles of Chili Powder, Coriander seeds, Bengal Gram dal, Peanuts, and so on to keep insets at bay.
- To open a sealed envelope without tearing, keep the envelope in the freezer for an hour. slide a knife under the flap to easily open the envelope without tearing.
