March hints are as follows:
- To remove lipstick marks from napkins and handkerchiefs, dip them in cold water first and then rub with glycerine. Wash with soap later.
- To clean a narrow-mouthed bottle, cut a potato into thin strips and put it into the bottle. Shake the bottle well, so that the potato pieces reach all over the inside. Remove the potato pieces by keeping the bottle upside down and shaking a bit. Clean the bottle as usual using soap water. The bottle sparkles like new.
- When filling a rubber hot water bag for the first time, add a few drops of glycerine to the water. This will make the rubber last much longer.
